potential to become successful international players in their field. The companies must have
a proven and scalable business model and experienced management with commercial orientation.

We provide capital and competence and work actively to maximize the portfolio companies’ value creation.

Our Focus Areas
Understanding of the industry and underlying business processes are important factors in order to
maximize the prospect’s future value. As a result, considerable emphasis has been placed on establishing
close co-operation with partners in sectors where we have proven results.

Our main focus areas are technical software and oil- and gas-related innovative engineering solutions.
Redback will normally invest in portfolio companies through share issues or acquisition of shares.
The total size of individual investments, including any follow-on investments, will typically be between
NOK 25 and 100 million. Board representation is a condition as this is an important part of managing
the value creation process.
